Terms, Conditions, and variable charges:

The time, date and location of the cremation will be of our choosing, and there will be no funeral service.
Mourners or Minister will not be in attendance.

An additional fee of £250 will be made for collecting the deceased from a private residence, nursing home, hospice or outside of our stipulated office hours.
Where a deceased person is resting outside the 10-mile radius, we will make an additional charge for mileage – the current fee is £1.50 per mile.
Where doctors stipulate that they will not travel to our office to complete the required cremation forms, we may use the services of another independent funeral director within the area the doctors will travel to. This will incur a variable fee of £150-£300.

If a pacemaker is in situ, we will make a charge of £60.00 for this to be removed prior to the cremation.

If you wish to collect the cremated remains, an additional fee of £36.00 will be made for the provision of a temporary polythene container, or £89.00 for the provision of a wooden casket.
Once we have notified you when the Cremated Remains are available, you will be required to collect them from our premises within one week – if you require the cremated remains to be couriered to you, an additional charge will be made.

Larger Clients: where bariatric factors are present, causing additional or unusual requirements, or where clients exceed 6’2”x 22” we reserve the right to either decline or withdraw our services at any time and/or make additional charges where these become necessary.

This package price is fixed, and no discounts will be applied.

This package price is not applicable for burial. Please ask us for a price for a direct burial.

Additional information:

We can book the time of the service to accommodate your wishes, for example if there are any dates that are required to be avoided, or if you would prefer a service early in the morning or later in the day.  Please note: price shown includes the fee for a service at Portchester Crematorium. However, if you stipulate which crematorium you would prefer to hold the service, there may be an additional charge to cover the cost of the Crematorium fees.

We ask for disbursements and additional methods of transport to be paid in full seven days prior to the funeral service taking place, failure to do so may result in the funeral being postponed. We have a £50.00 prompt payment discount which can be applied if the account is paid in full prior to the service being conducted.

If you require a burial, we are able to arrange this, the price of our services is £1960.00 including hearse only and basic coffin, excluding all disbursements, price for the burial is dependent on your required cemetery and type of grave.
